iPhone5: With Pre-Orders Through the Roof, Apple Stock Pushed Over $700 a Share

If record pre-orders are any indication, expect some huge lines when the iPhone5 hits stores Friday.
Apple Inc. obliterated its single-day sales record for iPhone pre-sales, announcing that it took orders for more than 2 million iPhone 5s last Friday. That was more than double its previous mark of 1 million iPhones ordered the first day of pre-sales in October for the iPhone 4S.
The massive iPhone 5 numbers pushed Apple’s stock past $700 a share for the first time in after-hours trading Monday. The shares closed at $699.78, up $8.50, or 1.2%. The world’s most valuable company is now worth nearly $656 billion — about six times its value in June 2007, when it released the first iPhone.
And with shoppers already beginning to line up at an Apple retail store in New York City, the device’s official release Friday could break even more records.
“The customer response to iPhone 5 has been phenomenal,” said Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of worldwide marketing.
The Cupertino, Calif., company said demand for the phone quickly exceeded the initial supply, so although the majority of pre-orders will be delivered Friday, many will be delayed for shipment until October.
The demand was so overwhelming that it intermittently crashed Apple’s website and sites of retail partners in the first few hours after the phone became available for pre-sale. In just one hour, Apple.com sold out its release-day stock. AT&T and Verizon also announced their own shipping delays.

Samsung Whopping Ad

Samsung Has not back off yet , they still in in the midst of blitz encountering what would be the new iPhone5

The new ad uproar with the line " It doesn't take a Genius"  which intend to give spasm to iPhone hardliner
in showing Samsung Galaxy S III is a better phone. Samsung will run in national newspapers tomorrow comparing the iPhone 5 to the Galaxy S III.

Obviously, Samsung look better on paper. With larger screen, better battery life, more RAM, and a longer list of features. But, to be fair, Samsung lists things like “Turn Over To Mute,” “Tilt To Zoom,” and “Shake To Update” for its handset, which comes off as trying to pad the stats.
But given that this ad is ostensibly a feature-by-feature comparison of the two phones, it seems disingenuous of Samsung to leave out a lot of great things the iPhone 5 can do.

iPhone 5

The all anticipated iPhone 5 has been announced last Wednesday. Much of us who are waiting for it as if in  "lighten up" mood, and we are all excited indeed. Its been a hoopla eversince iPhone 4 released. Then when iPhone 4s out , and Steve Jobs died,we all mourned , as the think-tank who pioneered Apple development gone, we would hope that apple will continue its legacy creating gadget that changed people's life. Now iPhone 5, we hope and as we hope samsung will deteriorate , our faith in apple will never will.

Sorry for the bias view of mine, i have  never intended to  degrade samsung, but as for the fact that Samsung been copying Apple design and tecnology is very childish. So Not creative
and genuine of them and yet they have sued Apple for the acusation. Apple for many years of developing has changed peoples life in many ways.Iphone, Ipad, Ipod, Mac is everywhere
or shall we say Ubiquitous.

I still remember the day i hold my first Iphone device. It was Iphone 2g, the first generation of iphone. It was the moment of joy. That was the time when Apple haven't  yet to open store
in Malaysia.  The available iphone during that time was brought in  from outside Malaysia. The one i bought  was a secondhand, and it was a good one. The display and smoothness was  magic. Unlike any other pda that time. I thought i hit the Jackpot.

Never once i have such device with immpecable functionality. Then was slow, Where the app still in developement, the hackers, geek, app engineers, still revising ios mechanism.Cydia still in cradle, rocked by dev- Team. Then came 3g and 3gs, it was a boom market. Everyone was thrill by it.When the time when Samsung still searching it tune, looking for the bloody mary.  Apple has already a billion app ahead.Android back then was just a toddler.

The iPhone 5 offers a larger screen, 4G connectivity and a slightly tweaked design. The new iPhone - the world's thinnest smartphone (or is it?) at 7.6mm (0.3 inches) - is made entirely of glass and aluminium, something Apple says is "unlike anything we, or anyone in the industry, has made before."

So what's the big deal, Hey they got Nano Sim,The smaller SIM card will be up to 40 per cent smaller than previous designs, (12.3 millimeters x 8.8 millimeters) and enables phones to be even thinner than before!.
And redesigned earbuds as well. iO6 has been said will be more improve design and its interactive mechanism. And Siri will be able to tell you facebook update and football scores!
